How it works

Know what happens before you share anything personal.

The process is intentionally simple. You can begin with minimal information and decide whether you want to continue after speaking with a counsellor.

01

Choose how to get in touch

Email, call or send us a short WhatsApp message to ask a question or arrange a consultation. You only need to share enough information to make contact.

02

Initial 15-minute consultation

Talk about what has brought you to counselling, ask questions about our approach and explore whether you feel you would work well together.

Fee: £10 · Format: Telephone or online

03

Agree the practical terms

If you decide to continue, we will explain session arrangements, fees, payment, cancellation, confidentiality and the way you will work together before ongoing counselling begins.

04

Begin counselling

Ongoing sessions last 50 minutes and cost £40. You can work on a short-term or open-ended basis, depending on what is appropriate for you.

05

Review the work

The counselling relationship is collaborative. We can reflect with you on what is helpful and discuss continuing, changing focus or bringing the work to an end.

Before you begin

Read the practical information first.
